Happy New Year everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Emily Dowling and I am the new Marketing & Design intern here at Cognetix. I am very excited to work with all the talented people at this agency and gain some great real world experience through them. As an undergraduate at the College of Charleston graduating in May, I look forward to working at a marketing and design agency interacting with real clients, solving real problems and creating great end products.

Vote for The Dee Norton Lowcountry Children’s Center and increase its chance of winning a grant from Chase! DNLCC’s mission is to keep children safe from abuse, and when abuse occurs, to work with the community to bring healing to these children and their families. DNLCC provides Lowcountry children and families with the services they need to recover from abuse. Help them treat more children and affected families by voting today!

Cognetix shined last night at the Charleston AMA Spark Awards held at the historic American Theatre. Katie Kern and Jessica Crouch were awarded the Dynamite Award (excellence for an event) for their work on the 2008 Shopping with Friends event benefiting Lowcountry AIDS Services.

The AMA Spark Awards recognize the most effective marketing campaigns in South Carolina and awards seven companies and one individual that have demonstrated outstanding leadership and programs in the previous calendar year. The entries are judged on the ability to show results through clearly defined objectives strategies and tactics.
