“I Believe” Campaign Recognized Nationally

"I Believe..." Campaign Logo

The “I Believe” campaign, created by Cognetix on behalf of the Dee Norton Lowcountry Childrens Center (DNLCC), was recently recognized by the National Children’s Alliance as the winner of its 2010 Public Awareness Campaign Contest at its annual meeting in Washington DC. In addition to the local and national recognition provided by the award, the center will receive a grant of $20,000 from the NCA to help fund their 2011 public awareness efforts. DNLCC is the first recipient of the award which was created to recognize child advocacy centers that have made exceptional efforts to educate and inform their communities on child abuse prevention, intervention and recovery.   In addition to this latest award, the marks the sixth time the campaign has been recognized since its inception in 2006.

  • 2006 – Corporate Support Award – South Carolina Professional Society on the Abuse of Children
  • 2006 – Giving Back Award – Charleston Magazine
  • 2007 – American Marketing Association Spark Award – “Torch” Award for Marketing Excellence in in Non-Profit
  • 2008 – Leadership Award – National Children’s Alliance
  • 2009 – American Marketing Association Spark Award – “Torch” Award for Marketing Excellence in in Non-Profit
  • 2010 – 2010 Public Awareness Campaign Contest – National Children’s Alliance

    Great news for an incredibly talented, awesome group of folks. Jeff, when you created this campaign, you knew it had the ability to go far and make dramatic change in the awareness of the issues regarding child abuse. You made it happen in conjunction with the great folks at Dee Norton Center. Kudos!
