Cognetix advertising and marketing created the branding banners that hung on McAlister Field House, site of the CNN-You Tube Democratic Presidential Debate. The debate provided national exposure for the Citadel and the Charleston area. Media from all three local TV stations as well as the local newspaper were present for the unveiling.

With one banner a massive 25 ft x 50 ft and the other 183 ft x 6 ft, installation was quite a challenge. It took a day and a half to get both banners in place. Each banner took two cranes and six installers.

The banners were designed to present the Citadel as a diverse college that emphasizes a disciplined educational environment. They also showcase the patriotic spirit that has been the tradition of the military college for over a hundred years.

Cognetix has been working with the Citadel for the last five years providing marketing and graphic design to brand the college as a traditional military school that promotes excellence through the education of principled leaders.
